A Trip Back to the 70s and 80s

As the buildings in the railroad village were built in the 1970s and 1980s, the entire village looks like an old movie set. It is this retro atmosphere that made the village a popular filming location for dramas and movies. The characters in the drama Thank You and the movie Man in Love, can be seen walking along the tracks, and the village was also introduced in the variety show 2 Days & 1 Night. The tracks are lined with stores selling vintage toys like yoyos, Tamagotchis, and firework poppers, and retro snacks like Jjondeugi (corn-flavored chews), Apollo (candy sticks) and Ramyeonttang (instant noodle chips). The school uniform rental shops, the small local grocery store, the photo studio, and many other stores that still look like they did back in the days take older generations on a journey down memory lane, and for younger generations is a cultural experience.
